ABOUT LINLEY

I'm finishing my junior year at Baylor University in Waco, Texas. I'm studying Journalism, Public Relations and New Media with a concentration in business. After graduation, I'd love a career combining my public relations, marketing and graphic design abilities.

At Baylor, I'm a member of the national and campus chapter of Society of Professional Journalists. I've served as the Public Relations Chair and as Vice President of Media Relations. At our monthly meetings, I enjoy hearing from professionals in various journalism careers. I am also co-captain of Baylor Baseball Diamond Girls. I help lead a squad of 30 girls both on and off the baseball field. We greet fans, sell programs, help with promotions, help with office tasks and retrieve bats and foul balls during games. For fun, I train and compete in half-marathons.



My top interests include my faith, people, sports, country music and traveling. These, of course, make for great photo opportunities. My favorite things to photograph are landscapes, people posing and interacting, and bold colors. A majority of my photos are taken with a Canon G1, the rotating screen makes it ideal for unique points of view. When I'm on the go, I'll use my Canon PowerShot A1200 HD or my iPhone. I edit my photos using iPhoto or Adobe Photoshop.
